PepperStreet was asked to:
- Update the website design inline with the brand.
- Upgrade the usability of the site
- Update and change the front end functionality of the site
PepperStreet began by meeting with Blunts to get a feel for their corporate identity. The firm remains a family business with deep roots in traditional family law. However with an increasingly young and dynamic outlook to the firm they wanted to present a modern look and feel without loosing sight of the more traditional roots.
We started by revamping the look and feel of the site. Basing the design on both their brand colours and more muted black and white photography we were able to create a good looking site which inspired trust and reliability whilst still feeling fresh and contemporary. The photography needed to reflect both the corporate and family sides to the company.
After the design had been agreed, PepperStreet looked at the usability of the site and taking the existing content simply wove a better user journey into the new site. The navigation was updated and cross links now allow user to navigate easily between areas of expertise. In addition the contact panels were added to facilitate users being able to contact Blunts.
Blunts had an extensive blog area on the old site which was migrated over in full to the new website. This blogs shows the breadth of their knowledge and therefore set the firm up as a expert in their field.
