Online Booking at the Bollington Bike Fit Website.

Bollington Bike Fit is a new venture set up by the James Roberts Cycle Coaching bringing a great new service to Bollington. The business being new needed a fresh and modern website to launch the business and with the help of a new logo from Matt at Bollington PrintShop, PepperStreet was commissioned to design and build a new website.

Alongside the bike fit business, James Roberts is a well respected cycle coach and his partner Claire run a personal training and fitness business. So the website needed to automate the booking process for the bike fit business so that it didn’t take up to much time.

The brief

In addition to a fresh new look and feel, PepperStreet integrated a woo commerce enabled booking system which allowed clients to select a date and time for their bike fit, add extra features to the booking like a home visit or additional family bike fit and then request a confirmation. The system was integrated with google calendar and this meant that availability was real time and works in conjunction with other commitments the business has.

The system sent out automated emails and reminders and allowed clients to pay for the service online if required but has the flexibility to allow contactless or cash payments at the time of the bike fit too. In addition to the booking functionality we also created an in depth form which the client is prompted to fill out before attending a bike fit. This form collects all the necessary information meaning the bike fit is a streamlined process on arrival.

We are delighted with the outcome of the project and it has been a pleasure working with James and Claire. We feel the booking system is a very versatile website and would easily adapt to other requirements such as holiday self catering booking, beauty treatments, dog walking, fitness classes and much more.
