CODEX LED specialises in high quality lighting solutions for shared spaces

Codex needed a platform to display all their specialised lighting for contractors to view. Due to the nature of their business they were not in a position to sell the lights directly to the public but needed to show options and specifications.

The brief

To design a modern website to showcase all the CODEX LED products to contractors.

The solution

We set up a WooCommerce website but just disabled the add to basket and purchasing functions of the store. This way we were able to add products and specifications in a categoriesed manor without the commerce functions.

The categorisation was important so users could easily fnd what they needed. In addition, CODEX wanted to be able to display complex specification sheets for each product. We used Ninja Tables Pro to achieve this. In meant that CODEX could create excel spreadsheets for each product and they were imported and linked to the product page. If a product was later updated the spreadsheet could be amended and reimported into the system easily. Each data sheet could be downloaded from the website or saved as a PDF and downloaded.

The branding for CODEX was really striking so we used this thoughout the site to bring the design to life.
